S355J2G3 is a low carbon structural steel grade often used for application which require better mechanical properties than that of S275 and S235 grade.It is widely used in engineering and construction industries
S355J2G3 steel is a carbon manganese steel. It is characterised by its excellent strength and weldability. S355J2G3 is a non-alloy structural steel according to EN10025:1990.

1.4318 / 301LN is a low carbon, nitrogen alloyed CrNi stainless steel with higher strength. 1.4318 / 301LN is used in applications that require corrosion resistance, high mechanical strength and good formability.
Because the nitrogen alloy improves corrosion performance, the 1.4318 /301LN provides corrosion resistance in many corrosive environments, similar to standard austenitic CrNi grades

Application

 

For construction parts which should be resistant to scaling up to about 1050°C and extensively inured to the effect of sulfurous gases, especially above 900°C, is very low.

• SS 309: This is a stainless steel grade, specifically part of the austenitic stainless steel family.

Properties of SS 309 (1.4828):

SS 430: This typically refers to a specific grade of stainless steel known as AISI 430. It is a ferritic stainless steel, meaning it has a high chromium content (usually around 16-18%) and low carbon content. AISI 430 stainless steel is known for its good corrosion resistance in mild atmospheres, and it can be easily formed and fabricated.
1.4404: This is another designation that refers to a different grade of stainless steel, specifically AISI 316L (X2CrNiMo17-12-2 in the European standard). F6NM is martensitic stainless steel. It is a chromium stainless steel with added nickel and molybdenum to its composition. It offers its excellence in corrosion resistance and zero notch ductility. Grade F6NM is air-hardened stainless steel

A36 is a low carbon steel. Low carbon steels are classified by having less than 0.3% carbon by weight. This allows A36 steel to be easily machined, welded, and formed, making it extremely useful as a general-purpose steel. The low carbon also prevents heat treatment from having much of an effect on A36 steel.

ASTM A131 Grades AH36, DH36, and EH36 are higher-strength structural steels with a minimum specified yield strength of 51 ksi and specified minimum Charpy V-notch impact toughness properties.
EH36, and FH36 are defined as higher strength and these grades are certified by the American Bureau of Shipping (ABS), so that they can be used in shipbuilding. The different grades are offered in various condition.
